Administrative Roles

The Resource Center aims to create and maintain an engaged community of social work educators and programmes, Supporting excellency in social work research and strengthening recognition of the importance of human relationships.

Regional Coordinator

  1. Spearhead conception of strategy and activities
  2. Harmonise Regional information 
  3. Coordinate events organisation 
  4. Coordinate implementation of the Strategic plan
  5. Write updates for the IT team to update the RRC website
  6. Establish contact and create ways for sustainable funding of the RRC Work
  7. Write minutes and email them to Partners
  8. Responding to formal communications
  9. Delegating tasks to appropriate team members
  10. Coordinate writing and submitting of annual reports to IASSW

Technical Advisors

  1. Steer the envisioning process and implementation of the Strategic plan
  2. Incubating ideas and proposing them
  3. Serve on the planning committee and provide guidance
  4. Examining drafts, plans and agendas and responses to formal communication
  5. Select members of working committees (depending on the task)
  6. Establish contact and create ways for sustainable funding of the RRC Work
  7. Performance review
  8. Collaborate to write and submit annual reports to IASSW

Country Coordinators

  1. Mobilize Schools of Social Work in respective countries
  2. Recruiting Schools of Social Work to the RRC
  3. Identify their respective University coordinators for new Schools
  4. Identify their respective coordinators for Social Work Practitioners
  5. Establish contact and create ways for sustainable funding of the RRC Work
  6. Collaborate to write and submit annual reports to IASSW
  7. Submit material for the RRC web page: pictures, summaries, power points, videos, drawings, interviews, descriptions, quotations etc.

University Coordinators

  1. Developing a Data base of social work educators in respective Universities (areas of expertise, research interests) and send to the secretariat
  2. Forward reports of needs of their respective Departments and Schools to Country Coordinators
  3. Identify their respective University Student coordinators for new Schools
  4. Establish contact and create ways for sustainable funding of the RRC Work
  5. Collaborate to write and submit annual reports to IASSW
  6. Submit material for the RRC web page: pictures, summaries, power points, videos, drawings, interviews, descriptions, quotations etc.
